RSO - Dust Lanes in Andromeda Galaxy

RSO - Dust Lanes in Andromeda Galaxy

Central part of the Andromeda Galaxy, taken on 10" Ritchey Chretien reflector a total of about 10 minutes. This was part of the commissioning of this telescope and the mount is not properly aligned, but with a camera it easily resolves the dust lanes that we cannot see with the naked eye. The tr4ails of the stars shows the need for accurate tracking.
