Photographic courses are a good way of learning how to take images. My aim is to work with people to develop their own unique vision and so my job is not necessarily to talk or go on endlessly about technology, or if one camera is better than another. Rather it is about first getting you to realise what you might do, and then to explore with you ways in which you can have an immediate impact on the the way you look at and take pictures.
Many courses develop ideas using Adobe Photoshop but we try to use those tools which are general to digital imaging and are often found within the software that accompanies your digital camera.
Over time as you gain more control over the colour, sharpness, texture and contrast of your images you will begin to develop your own style.
You will learn how easy it is to throw away the quality that digital photography offers, and how easy it is to preserve it.
You can easily develop your ability to use your photography, for a web site, for an album, for making leaflets, advertisements etc.
Currently I have no plans for any courses other than some days out, like Autumn Colours or Spring Bluebells, or Storm Watching
